This service enables citizens and residents to verify the ownership of a certain vehicle and get some useful information about that vehicle, by sending a text message that contains the ID number (Ahwal/Iqama) of the vehicle’s owner followed by the vehicle’s plate number, to the service number 88905 (Through STC Saudi Arabia).

After that, a message will be received confirming the ownership or not. In case of confirmation, the following information will be provided:

Vehicle’s license (Istimarah) expiry date.

Number of previous owners.

Year of manufacturing.

The vehicle’s chassis number.

The vehicles serial number which can be used in ATMs or online banking systems to pay the vehicle’s ownership transfer fees or renewing the vehicle’s license.
